Sandra Kay Shaw, 62, Carmel, IN, passed away on December 27, 2015. She was born to James and Laura Ruble on September 2, 1953 in Indianapolis, and graduated from Triton Central High School and Indiana State University. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jim; her children, Ben and Katherine; her sister, Beth; eight nieces and nephews; and three honorary grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on January 4 from 5-7:30pm at Indiana Funeral Care?,? 8151 Allisonville Rd, and there will be a memorial service at Second Presbyterian Church?,? 7700 N. Meridian St on January 5 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sandy’s name to the Patachou Foundation or to the American Cancer Society.

I grew up with Sandy and we would play together at school and I can remember spending the night with her on at least one occasion. We did not stay as close as we got older but I Always had a good time with her. I was not able to join band and hang out with her group of friends as we got older.
